Girls Night Out

Mike was backpacking this weekend so Cali and I were planning on going for frozen yogurt last night. Unfortunately it rained last night so we had to postpone until tonight. Best dinner ever!

Beer Pong Dog

Two weeks ago Mike and Andy spent the night playing beer pong. Andy won two games and Mike won one. Cali was very good at following the ball but never once picked up a fallen ball. Here she is following Andy's shot-I can't remember if this one went in.

Stanley, aka "Stan the man"

Rob and Erika got a kitten last week and today we went over to meet him. He is super cute. I didn't hold him because of my allergies but Mike did and he was a huge fan of Stan.

Food truck rodeo!

We went to the food truck rodeo in Durham today. It was a lot of fun but HOT. I think my shoulders are sunburnt. Oh we'll. great way to spend the afternoon.

Seven weeks!

It is crazy to think that seven weeks from yesterday will be our last day of work in NC.  It is a sad but exciting thought!  With the summer in full swing Mike and I are enjoying a more relaxed feeling (at least for now).  We spent some time with good friends and hoping to make more plans to see people before we run out of time, I've been going to bed early (since I don't have to plan the next day's lecture), and I'm hitting the gym more regularly. I'm sure this will change as the end of July approaches and we have the closing, packing, and moving the first week of August.  Until then-here's to Saturday mornings with muffins, coffee, and browsing the internet for new living room furniture :)
