Buenos Aires Part 2

On Saturday night, after walking around all day, we decided we had to keep walking and head to the river front to a restaurant that serves 100 day aged beef.  On our walk, we passed "the Pink House" which is where the president used to live (now she lives in a private residence).  This is where they filmed the scenes for Evita.  During the day is is pink but they really dress it up at night!.
During the day. This is the back of the building but these balconies were the ones Eva Peron would come out and address the public.

Night view.  This is a the left hand side of the building IF you were standing at the same vantage point as the picture above.
When we got to the restaurant we got a sample platter of traditional steak, 30 days aged and 100 days aged, all cooked medium rare.  We taste tested the cuts and decided that we liked the traditional (damn good meat in this country) and also liked the aged.  There wasn't much of a difference between the traditional and 30 days aged but a big taste difference with the 100 days.  Not sure I'd call it "better" but a very different flavor profile.  We finished up with a sample of 6 desserts-delicious!
